2010 Summer Camp Riding Program Falcon Ridge Equestrian Center is staffed by experienced horse people who recognize the value of an educated student. The summer riding program is geared to teach horseback riding as well as the proper care of the horse. Lessons are hands on and teach safe methods of handling animals. Horses are living animals that require certain knowledge to maintain and appreciate. The lessons at Falcon Ridge are meant to accomplish this goal while developing a lifelong interest in riding as a recreational sport. The summer program includes no only riding but the opportunity to interact with other student's interest in horses. The 5 day program will include general horse science lessons including: Horse Anatomy, grooming, equipment care, shoes & hoof care, horse safety, saddling & bridling, trail riding, cattle work for advanced students., crafts, games, and other summer fun activities.
